Users with hearing loss, or memory loss, persons who have trouble hearing the telephone ring, and persons who have trouble understanding conversations may all benefit from the Amplicomms BigTel 1502. This mobility aid has been designed to assist users with those difficulties by alleviating their problems.

The BigTel 1502 is a cordless DECT phone with an amplified volume of up to 35dB receiver volume and 90dB ringer volume. Call Blocker has been built into the BigTel 1502; it also includes a dedicated Call Block Key, as well as the option to block up to 100 numbers either manually, or automatically. 

The phone is hearing aid compatible, and Caller ID is shown on the handset when a call is incoming – Caller ID Services must be enabled through the telecom provider. 

This mobility aid features three speed dial buttons: M1, M2, and M3. Users may setup crucial numbers, such as family, or emergency contact numbers to the speed dial buttons for fast access. Each base can accommodate up to three additional handsets. The phone records a call log of the previous 50 entries, including the date and time of call.
