The Amplicomms BigTel 1580 DECT phone has a number of enhanced features two of which are the extra loud audio-boost and ringers. The audio-boost has an extra volume level of +35dB and is easily operated by pressing a one-touch button on the handset side of the phone. The extra loud ringers are an ideal mobility aid, as they go up to 90dB which is a bonus if you have difficulty hearing the phone when it rings.
Other features of theĀ Amplicomms BigTel 1580 are the useful call block function which instantly puts your mind at rest knowing you wont be bothered by unwanted calls. This function has a dedicated key and an automatic mode of up to 100 entries. There are also 3 direct memory keys (M1, M2, M3) on the handset, and on the answerphone base version. From the Voice version base you can answer the calls directly, hands-free, and call M1 to M3 direct memories even without the phone handset on the cradle. As a mobility aid this is a plus for anyone with limited mobility.
