The Lifemax Premium Large Sensor Mat is a pressure-sensor mat specially designed for use with various Lifemax alarm systems and is ideal for use in beds.

This sensor mat works by sensing the pressure from an individual's body weight. When this mobility aid is attached to a Lifemax alarm system, it will sound an alarm when the pressure stops i.e. someone gets out of a chair, or a bed.

The Lifemax Premium Large Sensor Mat enables it to be used as both a fall alarm that will sound if a person slips out of a bed, as well as an alarm to help prevent wandering. 

This aid is particularly helpful for people with limited mobility, or who are living with long-term health conditions which make them at increased risk of falls in the home. This mat is also an ideal mobility aid for people living with conditions such as dementia, or Alzheimer's, who may be more prone to wandering.
