The Magnetic Braille Timer is an invaluable mobility aid. It is especially useful when used as a kitchen aid, as it enables a visually impaired or non-sighted person to use a countdown when cooking food.

The numbers on the timer are white on a black background and each number has a tactile bump above it, so if you are unable to see the number clearly, you can feel it. The timer hand that moves round the face is red.

Once you have set the timer and the cooking time has been completed, you will hear a clear ringing tone to indicate whatever food you are preparing is ready.
