This Patient Specific Tubular Disposable Slide Sheet is crafted from Transtex, a specially developed fabric that is silicone coated on both sides, ensuring a slick, low friction finish for easy patient movement and turning. These slide sheets are designed to accompany the patient throughout their hospital stay and are disposed of when no longer needed, offering a practical and hygienic solution for patient care.

The Patient Specific Slide Sheets are lightweight and red in colour, making them easily identifiable. They are not intended for laundering; however, lightly soiled sheets can be wiped clean using a dilute chlorine-based solution or a high-quality sterilisation fluid, maintaining a level of cleanliness during use.

These slide sheets are not meant for lifting patients. All manoeuvres should be performed without lifting to ensure safety and ease of use. The tubular design, formed by sewing the fabric into a continuous tube with a double sewn low profile seam, reduces potential tissue viability issues while adding strength and durability to the sheet.

For added convenience, the slide sheets come with a web hanging loop, allowing them to be kept with the patient at all times. This ensures that the slide sheet is always readily available when needed, making patient handling more efficient and effective.
