These disability aids can even raise solid divan bases that have either castors, or block feet.

With legs, the Langham’s SureGrip Furniture Raisers can accommodate legs up to 7 cm (2.7 inches) thick, and create a rise of 3.8 to 10 cm (1.5 to 4 inches).

With ā€˜standard’ castors, the rise is between 7.5 to 13.8 cm (3 to 5.5 inches).

With block feet, or solid bases, the rise is 10 to 16.3 cm (4 to 6.5 inches).

Four images of a chair raiser all at different heights, demonstrating on how to make a chair raiser higher

To make the raisers higher, you simply twist them until you get to the desired height. To lower them, you twist the other way. The exact ā€˜raise’ is shown on the side of each disability aid. Please make sure that all of the raisers are at the same height.

Each Langham SureGrip Furniture Raiser has a unique double grip to ensure that they hold on tightly and securely to your furniture, without damaging any of it.

The Langham SureGrip Furniture Raisers are supplied as a set of four and can be used independently, or linked together with the optional Spreader Bars for extra stability. You can purchase the Spreader Bars if you click here!

In each pack, there are four adhesive pad adaptors that can be used on furniture with block feet.

If using the Langham SureGrip Furniture Raisers on a hard floor, you will need to fit the supplied adhesive feet. Do not use the raisers on uneven floors.

Make sure you only use these mobility aids under furniture that isn’t going to move and that the weight of any furniture is evenly distributed.
