The Morris Settee Raiser Adjustable Height is a discreet way of safely raising the height of a settee. The frames are positioned at each end of the settee and screwed into place from underneath using the supplied screws.
A third frame may be required to support the centre section of the settee if it was previously supported on castors/legs. It has telescoping arms that will allow it to fit most sizes of settee.
The Raiser is manufactured from a high grade of tubular steel to ensure maximum strength. Once fitted the raiser becomes an integral part of your furniture. Adjustable in height and length.
To ensure that they are secure, the tubes can be screwed into position. The frame is adjustable to accommodate a wide range of settees, and this covers a range of 610 to 1040mm (24 -41"). For settees that use multiple sets of castors (6 or 8), a third and fourth is recommended for heightened sturdiness.
Once in place, the raiser bars will not look out of place as they come in a discreet black colour. Coming in a black colour, this is a discreet method that will not look out of place on most settees
The raised furniture does not need to be re-positioned against a wall for support; which is an important safety consideration when choosing any furniture raising device. The furniture is capable of being repositioned around the room, for relocation or vacuuming purposes without fear of the raiser becoming dislodged.
