The Care Call Chair Leaving Monitor Pack is part of the overall Care Call Alarm range. It is designed specifically to alert a carer to the patient’s whereabouts. As a mobility aid, it makes daily living more independent and more 'normal' for the carer and for the person being cared for.

The Care Call Chair Leaving Monitor Pad is designed to fit snugly and discreetly under a chair cushion and, should the patient rise from the chair out of sight, or earshot of the carer, then the pressure released will activate the monitor pad which will send a signal to a pager, or to the Sign Wave portable receiver, if you have purchased one separately. This then alerts the carer to the patient's movements and position and gives him, or her, time to resolve the situation by seeing to the patient's needs and returning them to the comfort and safety of the chair.

The daily living requirements of the patient are of paramount importance and, as no carer can keep a constant watch over any individual, installing the Care Call Chair Leaving Monitor Pack goes a long way to helping the carer keep tags on a patient's movements.

This mobility aid is key to monitoring the safety of vulnerable people who may be prone to wandering and/or falling. It is powered by a 9v alkaline battery and the entire pack comes complete with the following – chair leaving monitor; chair leaving pad; vibrating pager and a trickle charger.
