The Wandering Alert Floor and Door Sensor Kit is a mobility aid discreetly monitoring movement in the home, alerting a family member, or caregiver, should assistance be required.

There are always challenges to maintaining security and safety for those most vulnerable. This daily living aid helps to make their environment safer, as the Wandering Alert Floor and Door Sensor Kit helps you monitor a person’s whereabouts at home.

The kit includes a door opening sensor with a transmitter, a weight sensing floor mat with transmitter and a pocket pager alarm.

The motion sensor is placed above, or to the side of a door, and an alert is sent when someone crosses the threshold.

The motion sensor makes no audible sound, so it does not interfere with your daily living. Instead, the wireless alert sounds a remote alarm on a pocket pager which can be in another part of the house with a caregiver, or other family members.

This mobility aid can be used as a bedside monitor, on a doorway, or at the entrance to your home, or garden. It is a discreet living aid, entirely portable and easily repositioned to where it’s needed the most.

Easy to set up, the plug in transmitters enable a quick disconnection of the sensors when not required.

This Wandering Alert Floor and Door Sensor Kit is supplied with simple adhesive pads to attach the sensor to your door. The floor mat can be placed under a carpet, or rug, and each transmitter is supplied with wall mount brackets. The pager is supplied with a belt clip and has a working range of 100 metres (328 feet).

Mains power is not required as all parts are battery operated. The transmitter requires 1 x A23 12v battery, which is included. The pager requires 2 x AA batteries, which are also included. There is a low battery indicator on the pager with a double chime, or continuous alarm tone option.

Installing this mobility aid in your home will enable all household occupants to continue their everyday tasks, knowing that the activities of daily living are being handled more safely.
