The Fall Savers® Chair Sensor Pad is a thin, flat pad that you place on the seat of a chair, or wheelchair, which detects when someone gets up. This movement alerts the carer, family or friends, and they can then come and see if any help is required.

The pad contains a sensor that activates when weight on the pad is removed.

As a  mobility aid, the Fall Savers® Chair Sensor Pad is both practical and helpful. It allows the carer, friends or family to leave the patient unattended for periods, while getting on with other everyday tasks.

Safety and hygiene are very important when caring for an older person. The Fall Savers® Chair Sensor Pad has been specially designed with this in mind. The pad is made of anti-bacterial material and is latex-free.

Anyone using this mobility aid should have a minimum weight of 36.3 kg (5.7 stone).
